(Monday, September 16, 2013) Legends Football League (or ‘LFL’ – formerly Lingerie Football League) alongside ShoWare Center (Kent, WA) officials are excited to announce the return of the 2nd annual, Pacific Cup ‘Border War’ featuring LFL Canada’s BC Angels vs LFL USA’s Seattle Mist, on Friday, December 6, 2013, 8pm Kickoff.

LFL Football’s rapid worldwide growth has led to the league being named ‘World’s Fastest Growing Sports Franchise’ and now it features league play in the United States, Canada, Australia and in 2015, Europe. Last year’s inaugural Pacific Cup was the first-ever game between the international leagues drawing a near capacity crowd who enjoyed watching the hometown Seattle Mist beat the BC Angels.

“Since 2009, we have enjoyed incredible fan support for the Seattle Mist at ShoWare Center. The annual Pacific Cup creates another great opportunity for the Mist fan base to see their team in a unique USA vs Canada setting”, said, Mitchell S. Mortaza, Chairman, Legends Football League, LLC.

The Seattle Mist have won the LFL’s 8th Man Award (Best Fan Base) for two consecutive years because of the environment Mist Nation creates packing the ShoWare Center.

“The LFL has always created incredible excitement at the ShoWare Center with the Seattle Mist football. Now hosting the 2nd annual Pacific Cup, the intensity and fan fare grows even more considering our proximity to Canada and British Columbia”, said Tim Higgins, General Manager, ShoWare Center.
