Legends Cup 2013 Moves to PPL Park in Philadelphia, LFL360.com

(LAS VEGAS, NV. – Friday, June 7, 2013) Legends Football League and PPL Park officials have partnered to move LFL USA’s Legends Cup 2013 from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia.

The move was made in part due to demand for ticket sales that could not be accommodated at Highmark Stadium in Pittsburgh which can only accommodate 3,000 in attendance. Ticketmaster will fully refund any ticket orders for the original Pittsburgh site.

Philadelphia’s PPL Park will provide a much more sophisticated stadium with far greater capacity for ticket sales.

PPL Park is also home to LFL USA’s Philadelphia Passion.

“We at PPL Park are excited to have acquired such a blue-chip event as Legends Cup, obviously the history of the Lingerie Bowl, now Legends Cup, speaks for itself in terms of commercial success. Legends Cup should generate considerable excitement in Philadelphia and the surrounding cities,” said Mike Scanlon, GM of PPL Park.

Tickets will go on-sale shortly through http://www.philadelphiaunion.com/ppl-park; or PPL Park box office.
