(LAS VEGAS, Nevada – Tuesday, July 1, 2014)

Legends Football League (or ‘LFL’) officials have announced broadcast partnerships with Setanta Sports (Ireland) and Premier Sport (UK) as exclusive broadcasters of LFL gridiron, one of the world’s fastest growing sports franchises with global league play in North America, Australia and Europe.
The LFL has rapidly built its roster of worldwide broadcasters since premiering in 2009, now seen in nearly 140 territories around the world with some of television’s most prominent broadcasters. Setanta Sports has agreed to broadcast LFL USA matches nationally in Ireland while LFL USA matches will also be broadcast nationally on Premier Sport in the UK.
Europe has become a major priority of the LFL in anticipation of LFL Europa play with clubs in Ireland, England, France and Germany. LFL Europa is expected to name a national team in each of its participating countries competing across Europe at major stadiums.
LFL Europa will be joining LFL North America (Est. 2009) as well as LFL Australia (Est. 2013).
“We are excited to partner with premiere broadcasters in Setanta Sports and Premier Sport, introducing the sport to national audiences in key markets for us. We have significant plans for the sport in Europe and specifically within the UK and Ireland” said, Mitchell S. Mortaza, Chairman, LFL Global.
Both broadcast deals were brokered by the LFL’s agency, TSA, formerly known as Total Sports Asia.
