Pittsburgh will go as far as the legs of Sonia Osselborn and the arm of Morgan Spencer will take them. Potentially a solid offense IF the front line can hold up. The sleeper maybe former New England Liberty wide receiver Jolie Efezokhae.
INJURIES: Sonia Osselborn (Ankle, Probable), Jolie Efezokhae (Ankle, Likely)
PLAYERS to WATCH: Morgan Spencer (QB), Jolie Efezokhae (WR), Sonia Osselborn (RB)
Omaha is more optimistic than ever, heading into the 2017 season. The re-signing of the only coaching staff that has had success in the Heartland with Dontae Allen and his staff, alongside the re-signing of former veterans Jaqueline ‘Wolverine’ Good and Lindsey Burse as well as the most coveted Quarterback in free-agency, Alex Drake. Omaha could set a completely different image following this game.
KEYS for OMAHA: Play an aggressive style attacking defense that challenges Pittsburgh Quarterback Morgan Spencer who has been out of the game for two seasons. Do not allow Pittsburgh to establish a run-game, make Spencer beat you with her arm. Feed Running Back Nikki Bernhardt against an untested defense.
PLAYERS to WATCH: Nikki Berndhart (RB), Alex Drake (QB), Jaqueline Wood (DE)
