LFL ANNOUNCES PLANS FOR HALL OF FAME AND NOMINEES FOR 1ST YEAR INDUCTION

(LAS VEGAS, NV. – Tuesday, October 29, 2013) Legends Football League (or ‘LFL’) officials are excited to announce plans for a Hall of Fame that will be built out in Las Vegas and four candidates of which one will be inducted in 2014, the weekend of Legends Cup.

The nominees for the historic first-ever inductee include former Los Angeles Temptation 3-time champion coach David Bizub, former offensive player of the year and MVP Marirose Roach, Los Angeles Temptation 3-time champion middle linebacker Monique Gaxiola and 2-time league MVP and Chicago Bliss championship quarterback Heather Furr.

One of these legendary figures will be inducted on Thursday, September 4 into the LFL’s Hall of Fame. Ceremonies will include a black-tie honorary dinner and event with the unveiling of the tribute artwork that will be displayed at the Hall of Fame for many years to come and of course a speech from the inductee.

Part of the requirement to be considered for the Hall of Fame is a minimum of four seasons of involvement at either coaching, executive or player level.

“Despite the LFL being in its infancy as a sport, we have been fortunate to have already had legendary figures build an incredible legacy within the sport. We look forward to honoring our first-ever inductee”, said Mitchell S. Mortaza, Chairman, LFL Global.
