LEGENDS FOOTBALL LEAGUE AND SBS BROADCASTING GROUP HAVE PARTNERED TO LAUNCH THE SPORT IN BELGIUM

(LAS VEGAS, NV – September 28, 2016)

SBS Belgium NV, a prominent European broadcasting group, has announced an agreement with Legends Football League (LFL) to kickoff ‘LFL on ZES’ broadcasts nationally throughout Belgium.

“We continue to reach unprecedented milestones, not only for women’s sport, but for American sport in general with the number of international television households reached for a sport only in its seventh year. Belgium is a key market for the growth of our sport and we are thrilled about aligning with the predominant broadcaster in the country” said, Mitchell S. Mortaza, Managing Partner, Legends Football League, LLC.

Broadcasts of LFL on ZES will kickoff November 19, 2016 in high-definition.

SBS Broadcasting Group operates national television channels across Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Belgium, Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, The Netherlands and Romania. SBS joins a number of European broadcasters that have launched in the LFL in their respective territories.

“The LFL will offer our audience in Belgium a unique new sports television property that is picking up momentum throughout European television. We are very excited to be the official home of the LFL in Belgium”, said Miguel Casier, Channel Manager, ZES.

Plans for LFL Europa are still underway to kickoff the sport with six national teams across the following represented nations, England, Ireland, Germany, Belgium, Spain and France.
