LFL ANNOUNCES US SPORTS BROADCAST PARTNER, ELEVEN SPORTS

(LAS VEGAS, NV. – Wednesday, April 12, 2017) ELEVEN SPORTS, operator of sports television networks in Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland, Singapore, Taiwan and now the United States, has acquired the exclusive United States broadcast rights to the Legends Football League (LFL). The LFL on ELEVEN SPORTS will premiere nationally on Saturday, April 22nd at 10pm.

ELEVEN SPORTS holds broadcast rights to premiere sports properties that include the National Football League (NFL), National Basketball Association (NBA), Premiere League, Formula 1 amongst others. The newly launched US national sports network, is already distributed on DirecTV, Verizon, Charter and other television platforms (check local listings).

“We are very pleased to add more compelling sports entertainment to our growing rights portfolio with the addition of Legends Football League,” said Danny Menken, Group Managing Director, ELEVEN SPORTS. “We look forward to working with the league in bringing fans closer to the action.”

ELEVEN SPORTS will broadcast all nineteen (19) scheduled games of the 2017 season, to include sixteen (16) regular season games, two (2) conference championships and Legends Cup 2017.

Previously, LFL broadcast rights in the US have been held by MTV Networks, NBC Universal and FUSE Network, ELEVEN SPORTS will be the first sports network in the States to broadcast the LFL.

Along with the games, ELEVEN SPORTS will distribute WOW clips, The Story series and other LFL Films programming.

In recent weeks, the LFL has announced broadcast partnerships with various major sports broadcasters around the world, to include OSN (Africa and Middle East), WAPA TV (Puerto Rico), Super Channel Sports (Canada) and Viasat Sport (Nordic Territory). Having been broadcast to over 200+ television territories, the LFL is now one of the fastest-growing sports franchises on television.
